Areas of Expertise
Sloane Kaiser is a community engagement associate in the Community Development and Regional Outreach Department at the Philadelphia Fed. She builds partnerships with cross-sectoral community stakeholders to promote equitable development strategies and elevate the needs of historically underserved communities. Sloane is the vice chair of the Federal Reserve System's Early Care and Education (ECE) Learning Community (2022), which aims to provide context on systemic challenges in the ECE sector and considerations for addressing the needs of parents, ECE professionals, and children — a region’s future workforce. Sloane contributes to the department’s qualitative and quantitative research efforts, primarily focusing on challenges that affect labor force participation, including ECE and access to capital.
Sloane joined the Bank in 2018 as a member of the Bank’s inaugural Leadership Fellows program. She spent a pair of yearlong rotations in the Community Development and Regional Outreach and Cash departments as a broad-based analyst before joining the Economic Growth & Mobility Project as an associate in 2020.
Sloane has an M.S. in economics from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business and a B.A. in economic development from Messiah University.
