Projections for the Semiannual Monetary Policy Report to the Congress


The data sets listed below show the individual projections of the members of the Board of Governors and the Federal Reserve Bank presidents made prior to the Federal Reserve Chair’s semiannual monetary policy report to the Congress. These individual projections, posted on the Philadelphia Fed’s web page with the permission of the Federal Reserve Board, were drawn from records that may be incomplete in the sense that subsequent revisions may have been submitted. The projections do not include those of the Chair because there is no record of those projections.

The individual projections were made available to the public after a lag of 10 years and were discontinued in 2007. Starting in 2008, in addition to the summary information that is made available to the public in the press conference and with the minutes, the compilation and summary of economic projections are made available to the public after five years instead of the previous 10 years. An accompanying file gives some important dates associated with the individual projections.
