Luke Tilley is a regional economic advisor with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. His responsibilities include working directly with the business and banking community to understand emerging trends and business concerns in the Bank’s District, which includes eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware. Additionally, Tilley delivers presentations about the national and regional economy, monetary policy, and the role of the Federal Reserve.
Before joining the Bank, Tilley was a senior economist at IHS Global Insight. His primary duties included conducting state and metropolitan economic forecasts, building econometric models, and managing programs to prepare data for quarterly forecasting models. Currently, Tilley is a member of the National Association for Business Economics.
Tilley received a B.A. in economics and history from James Madison University and a master’s in economics from Temple University. He will be receiving his Ph.D. in economics from Temple University in December.
