Timothy Schiller, Senior Economic Analyst

Jason Novak is a senior economic analyst in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. His research focuses on the local economies of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Novak analyzes and compiles the latest statistical data on local employment, housing, and market conditions for the Third Federal Reserve District. He is also responsible for the state coincident indexes and Third District leading economic indexes.

Novak has co-authored several reports and papers, including “Core Measures of Inflation as Predictors of Total Inflation,” which was released in May 2008.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Virginia Tech and received a master’s in regional economics from Pennsylvania State University.
