The Organizational Learning & Development staff provides developmental and educational counseling for exempt and nonexempt employees alike. The division also administers an on-site associate's degree program in conjunction with the Community College of Philadelphia. For the convenience of employees, classes are held on the Bank's premises. The Bank also offers a generous tuition reimbursement program.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is proud to be an active partner in the community through the volunteer efforts of many of our employees.
As part of its community outreach initiative, the Bank has established a partnership with the Philadelphia Youth Network to help teens prepare for employment opportunities during and after high school.
A continued relationship with the residents of Chinatown led to the Bank's involvement in a senior citizen literacy forum and Asian American Heritage festival hosted by the Governor's Advisory Commission on Asian American Affairs. Bank employees provided information about credit rights, understanding payment cards, employment opportunities, and more.
The Bank partnered with WorkReady Philadelphia, an organization dedicated to building the region's workforce, to create five summer internships for local high school students.
The Bank is a leader in the annual United Way Campaign, not only by collecting monetary contributions but also by giving employees an opportunity to volunteer for community organizations on Days of Caring and to mentor high school students on Shadowing Day. The Bank also provides a loaned executive to United Way.
