Section 309 of the Riegle Community Development and Regulatory Improvement Act of 1994 required the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the other Federal banking agencies to establish an independent, intra-agency process to review appeals of material supervisory determinations. The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia adopted a Policy Statement on Appeals of Material Supervisory Determinations
(96 KB, 22 pages) to codify its processes related to such appeals.
Questions on the policy can be directed to Michael E. Collins, Executive Vice President, at (215) 574-4142.
